Do Not Sell or Share My Info
Last updated: August 2026
This page explains how to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and how to exercise related privacy rights.
1. What We Do and Don't Do
ClientACQ does not sell your personal information to data brokers, marketing list vendors or telemarketers.
We do share the information you submit with independent attorneys and law firms in our network, and we receive compensation from those attorneys when we refer a potential client. Under some state privacy laws — including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended and the Washington My Health My Data Act — that arrangement may be treated as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. This page gives you a way to opt out of it.
2. What Opting Out Means
If you opt out, we will stop sharing your personal information with attorneys in our network for referral purposes. Because that sharing is the entire mechanism by which we connect you with an attorney, opting out generally means we can no longer match you with one.
Opting out does not affect information already provided to an attorney before your request. Those attorneys hold that information independently; we will forward your request to them, but you may also contact them directly.
3. How to Submit a Request
Email privacy@statesinjuryhelp.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Info" and include:
- The full name you submitted
- The phone number and email address you submitted
- The approximate date of your submission, if you remember it
We use these details only to locate and verify your record. We will confirm receipt and process your request within the timeframe required by applicable law.
4. Global Privacy Control
Where required by law, we honour opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) transmitted by your browser.
5. Other Privacy Rights
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Deletion — ask us to delete your information
- Consumer health data rights — see our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
- Contact opt-out — see our TCPA Consent Details
6. Authorized Agents and Appeals
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request; we may ask for proof of authority and take reasonable steps to verify your identity. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response with the subject line "Privacy Appeal". If an appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.
7. No Discrimination
We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right.
